Large Hailstones and Widespread Destruction
Homeowners reported giant hailstones as large as seven centimeters in some areas. Weather authorities verified that multiple regions across Queensland had been affected by large hailstones.

Rescue organizations received 598 requests for assistance across the region, mainly for property damage but also for downed trees and flooding.
